Freedom Fighters: Charles "Rusty" Adams

KILGORE, TX (KLTV) -

After driving over a dozen land mines and losing three tanks in the Vietnam War, Charles "Rusty" Adams knows he's lucky to be alive.  

Adams was awarded a Bronze Star for valor when he jumped out of his tank to help a wounded soldier to safety. That incident and others are covered in the documentary "Dreadnaughts in War"
